Background
Fisher PC is a public accounting firm in Southwestern Ontario. Their team handles everything from tax filings and succession planning to business acquisitions, for personal and corporate clients.
Challenge
Fisher competes for talent against much larger firms, and its biggest advantage is hard to see from the outside: the people, and the flexibility the firm gives them to live full lives. The partners wanted to raise Fisher's profile online and show candidates what working there actually feels like, not another stock-photo careers page.
Solution
We ran pre-interviews with the team to find real stories, then scripted a series of short recruiting spots, each built around one person and a passion outside work that mirrors how they work.
Michael Thompson, a partner, plays recreational basketball. His spot ties the court to the firm: every client needs a game plan, and everyone plays their role.
Christine Hinrichs has been with Fisher for almost 20 years. Her story is family first: the flexibility to be at her kids' hockey games, and the firm's support as she earned her CPA.
Geraldine Masaoy started as a co-op student and worked her way up to senior accountant. Running and yoga keep her balanced and sharp through busy season.
We shot over a day and a half, in the office and on location, and delivered three 45-second recruiting spots, a company overview video, and team photography.
Outcome
Fisher received four finished videos and a photo library for its careers page and social channels. On our debrief call, the Fisher team said the process was smooth, that the planning meetings and scripting made the difference, and that the final videos matched the style reference they had loved from the start. Geraldine's spot, Balance and Breakthroughs, went on to win a Gold Hermes Creative Award.
